Jack in the Box recently launched a new menu item called the "Munchie Meal" which comes in the four following varieties..
Stacked Grilled Cheeseburger
A delicious sourdough grilled cheese atop a delicious sourdough cheeseburger.
Exploding Cheesy Chicken Sandwich
A chicken sandwich exploding with mozzarella cheese sticks and gooey white cheese sauce.
Chicken Nuggets drowning in two kinds of cheese with ranch and bacon.
A burger with a fried egg, a crispy hash brown, and bacon.
Munchie Meals also come with a drink, two tacos, and a halfsie order of regular and curly fries, all for six bucks. Jack in the Box contacted me last week and asked if I would like to try a Munchie Meal on them. My son and I have been dying to give these meals a try, and decided to take a mini road trip a couple of nights ago to check them out. My curiosity had already been piqued since they hit the late night menu, so when Jack in the Box offered to flip the bill for a free Munchie Meal, I wholeheartedly accepted the offer.
Below is a short video we shot to document our findings. The video doesn't have the best sound and picture quality, as we shot the video on the road and at night with a very modest mini-cam. However, I enjoyed putting it together so much, I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my camera and possibly shooting more videos.
As I stated in the video, my Brunch Burger Munchie Meal was great. I was already a big fan of Jack's fried tacos, but the Brunch Burger itself was sheer genius. I'm a big breakfast guy, and this burger was hitting on all cylinders.
My son was really digging his Stacked Grilled Cheeseburger Munchie Meal. If you love cheese, this is the burger for you.
Suffice it to say, we had a fun and tasty little trip. It conjured up some old memories of me and my old mans many trips to Jack in the Box, and hopefully gave my son another pleasant memory to file away in his personal data banks.
Jack in the Box is always on the cutting edge of fast food, and their new Munchie Meals deliver quality, quantity, and enjoyment, all without breaking the bank. To get more info on the new Munchie Meals, visit Jack in the Box online
