It'd be great if other cereal companies would get on board with this idea like General Mills. At the very least.. I'd love to see more General Mills cereals like Cookie Crisp, featuring box art that I loved so much as a kid!

ReplyDeleteWe really did all of those puzzles and games on the back of the boxes, because we didn't have any hand-held electronic devices to detract us.
And since there was only one TV in the house, and it was in the living room, and we ate breakfast at the table in the kitchen... well - we made use of the games they gave us!

Kitty: Yup! The Cookie Crook and his dog who were always being chased by the cookie cop! Before the cookie crook.. there was a wizard that changed kids boring cereal into cookies!!
Connie: Very true!! I'd like to see it too.. but I doubt it will ever happen!
Dan: Yes! I missed seeing him as well! The new version of Lucky just looks too goofy.
I got the Captain Crunch in the retro box a few weeks ago. The box was great, but unfortunately the cereal tasted like it was 30 years old. Oh well.
