Interesting. At first, they were actually out of Eggo waffles at my stores.

I did a post on Eggo Waffles at the end of last year and it was sheer murder trying to get hold of a pack!
ReplyDeleteApparently there was a breakout of some bacteria in one of the three or four factories that make the waffles, or something.
that's something for the history books kids!
ReplyDeleteIt was bacteria at 2 plants that caused the shortage. Why would you want to eat that crap anyway...make chemical free waffles at home with fresh ingredients and freeze them yourself!

Will: No kidding! In my circle of friends, I'm one of the only ones who own a waffle maker. You just can't beat hot waffles with fresh strawberries on a Sunday morning!!
That's crazy. I haven't noticed it around here. I remember eons ago wanting a Nintendo Game Boy and was informed the reason they were so impossible to get was because there was a fire at the factory or something where most of the Game Boys were made. Totally unrelated.
